Is a picture really worth a thousand words?
Do the blurry pictures miss out a few hundred?
Are colorful pictures made of more words than black and white pictures?
Can we reduce the conversations and laughter and silence to just a picture?
Is it enough to capture the stray cat or the wild rose that grew from the cracked tile?
Is the frame large enough to capture the smile and the frown?
Does the colour scheme make blue appear lavender and black appear grey?
Does it really tell the whole story? Does is even tell half the story?
Or does it capture people focused on the camera rather than living in the moment?
Sometimes I think long and hard about it.
